A day of Awards

The last assembly I went to was such an honor.  Both Izaiah and Zion received the Ha'aheo award for Best Effort in all areas.  Then Anjuli got an award for participation in Cross Country from Mr. Fujioka.  Lastly Anjuli's choir the Mililani Egrets performed and even Santa showed up!  Proud Mama.

Christmas Fun

We had a fun time making Gingerbread houses with the Hugos.  Jazzy would frost and then take a bit, so funny.  Also had our Maiaohe Wonderland and rode the Christmas train at the mall!

Anjuli turns 9!

Happy Birthday, Anjuli!!!  I can't believe my oldest is nine already!!  Anjuli had a fun day with a birthday party at our house.  She got a pair of double-dutch jumpropes from us which she loves.  At the party we spent a whole hour just on jumping rope!  We also played musical chairs, hear a mini-recital from Anjuli, silliest face contest, and cake and icecream.  We sure love you Anjuli!!

Julie in town!

We had so much fun with Julie in town.  Started off Thanksgiving morning with a crazy hike up Lulumahu falls.  It was raining pretty hard so the trail was like wading through a flood of mud and water the entire time.  Luckily we had strong teenagers to help carry backpacks and kids!

Headed to the beach afterwards, Jazzy didn't want to take off her jacket.

Anjuli just loved having Ashley to play with!

Thanksgiving dinner: an improv of Chicken cordon bleu, peas, and mashed potatoes.  Not exactly traditional but it sure tasted good after a long hike!

 The kids loved playing with eachother.  Now my kids are missing their cousins terribly!  Summer feels like a long time to wait..

Had so much fun with this "Pie face Game".  It's Russian roulette with whipped cream :)

We miss you Ham fam!  Thanks so much for coming to visit, we love you!!

November happenings

Ezzie bit into an oatmeal packet and then made it "snow" all over in the bathroom

Zui babysat 2 extras and fed them all dinner while I was teaching piano

Jazzy is obsessed with Tigers right now.  Every morning she covers herself in stripes and wears her tiger ears.  Then she crawls around the house attacking things :)
