Monday we went to Hawaiian Waters with a bunch of family in town. It was so much fun, and the kids had a great time.Anjuli liked playing in the wade pool. Zion couldn't get enough of the water slides.

Baby Zeya's Baby Blessing
Zui gave a really beautiful blessing on Sunday. He even blessed Izaiah that he would start sleeping through the night! (I think I need a little more faith to see results for this one...) The blessing was barely audible since Zeya decided right then was a good time for choir practice :) He's a got a good set of lungs at least! Three generations
Thanks to all the Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and Fam that came to support Izaiah!

Christmas
Well I suppose it's about time I catch up since tomorrow is officially 2010. It's been a busy few weeks... Christmas Eve we headed over to Lindsey's house for a wonderful dinner. Afterward we reinacted the nativity--guess who got to be Jesus!
Anjuli of course was super excited it was finally Christmas. She didn't even mind our 2 foot pathetic-looking leaning Christmas tree :)
The strings tradition still holds...Zion's string led to a truck, which by the way, is now his favorite word and he says it at least 20 times a day. A true boy.
Anjuli's string led to a dress-up magnetic doll set.
She didn't really care so much about any one particular present--she just loved opening one after another, she was on turbo mode :)
I got Zui a pullup bar. It's been a fun challenge for both of us. I can now almost do one pullup if I can get a good jump in (don't laugh!)
Zui got me a bunch of lotions from Burt's Bees. I'm always teasing him that his presents are usually useful things for the house, so he made sure this one wasn't "useful" in that sense :)
Baby Z got a rattle. He could care less :) But really, he is our Christmas present this year. It's funny, the times that are stressful with the 3 kids are usually not because of him. He actually makes motherhood more pleasant right now. When things are tough with Anjuli and Zion I can just look at him and he'll smile right back and I know he loves me. I love that all he does is smile, it is so precious and reminds me why I have kids.

Next year I will do shorter strings...it's hard to do strings with young kids. Zion was too young to grasp the concept and kept crying anytime he'd run into one. Anjuli just wanted to open presents and ditched the string entirely. And we were trying to hurry and wind up our string before anyone had any major accidents! Still, I am glad it is a tradition we carry on. It will be more fun the older the kids get.

Happy Birthday, Anjuli!
Anjuli turned 3 on Saturday! We let her do whatever she wanted all day long. She picked out her own outfit, then started out the day with a movie :)
We went to Walmart to see Santa Clause, but he wasn't there...so as we headed back home we got stuck in traffic due to this parade. It actually turned out great. We pulled over to the side and had front row seats. And Anjuli got to see Santa afterall! As he passed by us in the parade Anjuli said, "Where's Santa going, Mommy? Oh, he's going to Walmart!"
After naps we went to Chuck E Cheese. Anjuli and Zion had a great time, but man alive, that place gives me a headache! I think next time we'll convince her to go to the beach or the zoo instead.
That night was our ward Christmas party. As everyone ate dinner, Anjuli took the opportunity to impress everyone with her beautiful dancing skills on stage. I was really surprised because usually she's shy in front of a big crowd, but not tonight!
She was so cute up there, I just couldn't bring myself to stop her.
At night we opened presents. Her big one from us was a new Melissa & Doug Birthday Cake set.

Independent ZyZy
My little boy is becoming so independent! He loves to play in the sink while I get ready in the mornings. Today he started washing his hair all on his own--too cute!

All Smiles
Okay, so I know these pics are pretty much all the same, but for the life of me I just couldn't pick only one! (typical Mom, yeah?) Zeya has been all smiles lately, it's so much fun. Zion calls him "Izya" or "Zya"-- pretty cute, and is still smothering him with kisses whenever he sees him. Anjuli likes to lay down next to him and play with his hair.
