Christmas Card Pics

Our friend Shawna took our Christmas Card pics this year. We thought she did a great job! She is actually starting up her own photography business. These were taken at Ali'i beach in Haleiwa. Thanks, Shawna!

Don't you love my new earrings??

Silly Anjuli

She takes after her mom...Time to clean up! Anjuli has been refusing bath time, so Zui decided to give her a bath in the sink, which she LOVED. Don't I have the cutest little girl?

Anjuli thought it was so cool to turn on and off the water :)

From Muscles to Makeup

Zui decided it was time Anjuli got into shape.

So now he's her personal trainer. At least someone is getting some use out of the weight set.

But this little tough cookie sure knows how to primp!I let Anjuli try putting on some bronzer today so I could put on my makeup in peace. I didn't realize how good she got the hang of it!
Just like mommy ;)

Date with Aunty Katie

Katie is just the best. Today she took Anjuli shopping with her to Walmart. Not only did she buy her a new pair of shoes, she then took her out to eat at Chili's! I hardly ever go to a restaurant with my kids, but Katie said Anjuli was great!
Anjuli wanted to high-5 the waitress.

Passing time til the food comes...

Peek a boo!

Mmmm...apparently Anjuli loved the spinach artichoke dip and ate all but the 4 bites Katie had. That's my girl!

Who me? Did I eat it all?

Crazy Katie

My friend Katie is the funniest person I know. My abs hurt from laughing so much this past week. Every morning she sang to Zion:"Good morning, good morning, Zion's such a very special boy. Day's dawning, stop yawning, you're so much more handsomer than a frog." I know, it doesn't rhyme.

Katie makes the perfect Aunt. She gave Anjuli a bath and filled it way high with water and added tons of bubbles. Then she got in the tub with Anjuli to show her how to have a good time... she got a little wet in the process :)

Feeding Zy Zy is sometimes a scary task...

"You're doing good, Jenn."

I drove Katie around the North Shore and told her I wasn't a very good driver. After that point she kept giving me positive reinforcements every 5 minutes or so to boost my self esteem.

Anjuli loved having Katie around. They became the best of friends really quickly.
We'll miss you, Katie! Come back soon!

Happy Birthday Bonanza

Friday, November 21st I turned 28 years old! It wasn't too bad turning 28, feels a lot like 27 so far, although I'm not looking forward to turning 30... I had the most perfect birthday. Zui got me flowers and watched the kids all day while I went out with my friend Katie. We had a blast together! We went to the North Shore, stopping at Shark's Cove and Lani's.
We got totally drenched by this wave :)Lani's is where you find sun-bathing turtles.
Katie totally spoiled me. She took me out to lunch to Chili's where the whole crew sang Happy Birthday to me.
Then we got pedicures and manicures!!!

Love the toes. We got matching flowers done :)

I got the awesomest present from my little bro, Chris. His friend made this etching of me and Bud swing dancing. I think it's called cross-hatching.
It doesn't get any better than this--birthday massage. Did I tell you Katie is a massage therapist?
Katie even taught Anjuli how to rub my feet with lotion...that will come in handy in the future :)
Then Katie watched the kids while Zui and I went out to eat at P.F. Changs. Don't I have the best friend?
And, like a cherry on a banana split, Zui topped off my birthday bonanza by singing Happy Birthday to me (and the rest of the restaurant).
It was actually a dare.
He says, "Jenn want me to sing to you?" (there were tons of people around).
"Yeah right, you're not gonna sing. Even if I wanted you to."
"Yeah I will."
"I dare you."
"K, just to prove it to you, I'll sing, Loud, and Off-key."
After Zui finished, the restaurant started clapping, followed by one guy asking, "So did she say Yes?"
Of course! I'd say 'yes' a million times over.
Thanks, love, you're the best.
