Tis the Season...

Tis the season for diapers to be the only clothing needed! It is officially HOT over here in Hawaii, averaging 85 degrees inside our house during the day and about 79 at night. With no AC, it gets a little sticky, but thank goodness we have a pool in the complex. Although the kids spend much time modeling their diapers inside the house, we do try to clothe them when they go outdoors :)

Zion's latest trick...he loves doing this, we just have to be careful he doesn't fall off the bed.

Happy Mother's Day

I got double lucky this Mother's Day, in various ways :) First off, Zui surprised me with these beautiful lilies the Saturday 8 days before Mother's Day. I was a little confused since Zui is not the type to spend money on flowers...or spend money at all for that matter, so I ask him what they were for and he says, Duh, it's Mother's Day tomorrow! Haha! He was a little stunned when I reminded him it wasn't for another week. Oh well, I got pretty flowers "just because"...kind of.My actual Mother's day was experiencing true motherhood in the most literal sense. Zion, Anjuli and Zui all had the stomach flu so I was busy taking care of them while we all stayed home from church. Luckily enough I didn't catch it (I have no idea how) and now everyone is healthy. The week after Mother's Day we celebrated. Zui stayed home from his 6:30am meeting, insisting he take care of me and the kids :) He made me Sweet Bread french toast with strawberries and whipped cream, yum! He took the kids all day while I just laid on my bed and read a book, it was so great! I even got a second batch of flowers! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful kids, and such a supportive husband. I wouldn't trade being a mom for anything in the whole world. Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful women in the world!

Jeannette Kelly

video

Those of you who have been following my blog know how much Anjuli loves "Singin' in the Rain." Well this morning I caught her outside, umbrella open, singing away. She even twirls the umbrella, just like Gene Kelly. She is often singing bits and pieces of this song--I love it! Another addict in the family!

Ko'olina

We had a great time at Ko'olina this afternoon. We brought along the boogie board, which was definitely a good idea. The kids loved it!
Anjuli is such a big girl now. She knows how to drag the boogie board into the water all by herself...

...and go for a ride! She was pretty fearless!
I like this pic cause Anjuli's doing the shaka ;)

Zion loved riding the waves!
Zui had fun sand-sliding. He even gave Anjuli a turn, no joke.

Next thing I know Anjuli is flying down the shoreline at rapid speed. By the time I got the camera set to the right mode she was to unwilling to do it again...shucks!

The Latest with ZyZy

ZyZy is learning how to ride a bike! Not really, but he loves getting on this one...I'm not quite sure how he does it since his feet don't touch the ground once he's on.

Zion *loves* water (don't all kids?), and since Anjuli figured out how to turn on the hose all by herself I am constantly finding my kids drenched.

Here's how I found them recently...
Playtime with Mommy

Zion loves to do "high ten."

There is nothing sweeter than being a mom. Moments I treasure...
