Great to be 8

Anjuli went to "Great to be 8" in preparation for her baptism coming this year. I can't believe my little girl is growing up!

Ezekiel at 9 months

Look at my big boy standing!!  That's his latest--he goes from sitting into this sumo position with his legs far apart, then gradually stands up, it is so funny.  I wonder if he will be an early walker, all my other boys were really late.  Ezekiel is such a happy boy, he is always squealing and flapping his arms around.  He's still sticking anything and everything in his mouth and loves water, especially toilets...  Zui still insists on calling him Ziggy but to me he is "Zekiel" or sometimes "chubbalubba".  Sure love this boy.  Who knew your heart could hold so much inside?

Tyler and Jarod in town

 We had so much fun seeing Tyler and Jarod while they were here for a Band trip.  Spent a few hours on a beach near their hotel.

The kids already asked when Tyler and Jarod are moving here :)  Can't believe that's the last time we'll see Tyler before his mission! We'll miss these boys.  So glad we got a chance to see them!

Zion turns SIX!

Happy Birthday to my big boy!  Can you tell Zion is excited for his birthday??

 Zion specifically asked for a "Tall" cake, and "Not the long rectangle type"... so I had to appease to my best ability, which isn't much I'm afraid.  Still he thought it was the Coolest cake ever!  Yes!

 We gave Zion Magformers (magnetic building blocks), a ping-pong gun, and rollerblades.  He really loved all of his presents.

 So does everyone else!

 Zion loves building this huge ball with the magformers.  He does it over and over again.

 And he spends much of this time outside trying to figure out how to use the rollerblades!  But he is a quick learner so I don't anticipate it taking too long.

 Zion asked to go surfing for his birthday.  First time with his daddy, it was a growing up moment :)

 He was so excited!!  He keeps telling me "Mom. Can you even believe I stood up on a wave?  And I'm only six??!"
