My Dishes Helper

Anjuli loves the word "dishes" just as much as she loves the word "movie." Whenever I say, "Anjuli, you want to help Mommy with the dishes?" she gets all squealy and starts jumping up and down. It's really good for me, too, since it helps me keep on top of the pile up. We make a great team!

Iroquois Point

Saturday we tried out a new beach--Iroquois Point. It is really a beautiful beach, complete with a playground set right on the sand. But... it is super windy! We thought maybe it was just that day that winds were blowing like crazy, but we talked to a few people and they said it's usually really windy there. It was so windy we could hardly do anything--our lunch kept flying away, as well as our other belongings, and Zion just cried the whole time. Now I understand why the beach was pretty much empty on a beautiful Saturday... We saw this submarine go right on by us!
Zui had a fun time boogie boarding, even though the waves were so choppy.

Favorite Flowers

Whenever I change Zion in the bathroom he always grabs at the fake flowers. This time he knocked over the whole vase!

The Best Husband

Last night was a late one for me, with both kids waking up during the night. So Zui took the morning off and let me go back to sleep. When I woke up, this is where I found him, reading books to the kids--after he'd already taken them for a walk. I have the best husband!

Squeeze That Fat

Pretty Girl

Anjuli got this outfit from Aunty Lory! Maybe I'm biased, but I sure think Anjuli is a pretty girl. She is getting so fun now. She really loves it when I sing "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree." I'm clearly not a singer, but she loves it so much that when I'm done she'll say "please" to have me sing it again. Unreal! I can't believe someone wants me to sing!

Tosh Johansson

This is Tosh! I am now babysitting him everyday from 7 to 12. He is really a great kid. It works out really well, although Anjuli is not the nicest to him just yet. I think she feels threatened when he plays with her toys, plus she is now competing for my attention with another kid. Here he is enjoying my blueberry muffins :)

Anjuli is in the "don't take my picture!" phase... so here she is saying "noooo"
Anjuli likes to "help" Tosh drink from his sippy cup. Whenever Tosh lies down to drink his juice Anjuli has to sit next to him and play with his hair. Anjuli is getting kinda used to having him around. Yesterday Tosh was sick so he stayed home. At breakfast Anjuli was being fussy. We said, "Anjuli what do you want? Do you want milk? no. Do you want cheerios? no. Do you want Tosh? yeah!!!
