Maui: Iao Needle

Our last day in Maui we went to see Iao Needle--awesome! Thanks to Lory for always carrying Zion! It was so nice to have a break :)Across from Iao Needle is a cultural park with all sorts of mini houses and gardens from different countries.

Saying our goodbyes...Still time for one last freezer pop!

Maui: Waihe'e Beach

On Tuesday we went to this beach, just around the corner from the Aiwohi's home. The Aiwohi Clan! Mahonri, Alma, Teancum, Daisy, Lory, Gideon

Me and my Babes :)

Maui: The Grand Wailea

Thanks to Lory's family, we spent all day Monday playing at the Grand Wailea. It was awesome! They have tons of waterslides, a rope swing, lazy river, rapids, and the only "water elevator" in the world.
Anjuli loves trying on everyone else's slippers. Here she is with Mahonri. Anjuli couldn't figure out what was going on with her wrinkly feet! Lunch Break
The Rapids Zui doing some awesome flip off the rope swing
The Aiwohi gang: Daisy, Lory, Teancum (me) Gideon, Mahonri

Scare of a Lifetime

Anjuli is getting very brave in the water--a little too brave if you ask me. While we were at the Grand Wailea I saw her walk towards the pool. I was a few steps behind her, saying "Anjuli wait for Mommy" when she tumbled into the deep end like it was no big deal. I was terrified! I jumped in and grabbed her (Zui laughs cause I still didn't open my eyes underwater). She came out looking very stunned, and a little scared. Hopefully I never have to go through that again...

Trip to Maui: The Superferry

On Sunday we left for Maui for 3 days to visit Zui's sister, Lory, and her family of 4 kids. We thought we'd save a few extra bucks by taking the Superferry--looks like fun, right? Needless to say, we all got seasick within the first half hour, and the whole expedition was nearly 4 hours long. It was painful. Luckily, nobody lost their lunch (in our family) but we did take the easier route home and fly.

Noggin!

So if you've ever seen Finding Nemo you'll understand this. Remember the cool turtles? Zui's been doing "Noggin" with Anjuli as a night time tradition just before bed. She gets a nighttime kiss from Mommy and a noggin from Daddy.
