Oregon: FHE with the Jones'

To continue our vacation we flew to Oregon on Sunday June 3rd.  So fun to see more family!  We spent Monday night with my brother Carl and his family.  We had an excellent dinner followed by FHE fun.

Jared was a great help with the kids.  Zeya really took to him.

Carl managed to distract Jasmine long enough for me to eat my dinner with two hands (thanks Carl, it meant a lot!)

Jared helped Zeya make a paper airplane, then would hold him up each time so Zeya could launch it over the edge ;)

Ryan and Zion (hey that rhymes!) loved playing tackle on this huge teddy bear.

Time for Family Home Evening!  It was cute, all the Jones kids had a Kim kid in their lap or by their side. 

 

Aimee was amazing at preparing the lesson.  We all started off by singing "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam."  She had little suns for each of the kids to hold so they could jump up and down while singing the song. 

Then we had the lesson on David and Goliath.  The kids helped tape up the Goliath puzzle, and then got to take turns throwing marshmallows at it ;)

On to the entertainment:  Dance Party!  Tyler jammed along on his electric guitar.  He's really good!

Jared showed us some cool moves.  Then they wanted Zui to break dance, too.

It was so cute to watch all the kids dance together.

The dance party moved aside for Arm Wrestling to take place!  (guess who won ;)

I think this was my favorite part of the whole night.  It was soo funny watching the kids battle it out!  Even Zui and Carl challenged each other.  I won't tell you who won ;)  okay it was Carl.
