On Wednesday we headed to Crystal Springs, the prettiest Rhododendron garden in Portland. We met up with Zui's best friend Gordon and his family that just moved to Washington.
The kids had a great time walking across the rocks in the water.
We took Jacob with us. I am SOO glad we did! He entertained the whole gang while we were stuck sitting in traffic for an hour. Anjuli would have normally complained the whole way about a sore tummy, instead she and the others were rolling laughing.

The kids had a ton of fun making little boats out of leaves or sticks and watching them go under the bridge.
So nice to be able to catch up with good friends, and at such a beautiful place, too!

I used to live down the street from that garden and never visited. Looks like a fun time, maybe now that I live across town, I'll have to check it out!
