A few days back my friend Jolie Hendricks came into town. She was my colorguard instructor from high school 10 years ago (yes, I did say 10!) We met up at Sharks Cove. The kids loved playing in the shallow water and seeing the fish. Meanwhile, I got a major sunburn (I forget how bad those hurt).
Then we headed to her team's winterguard show. Jolie is currently teaching at Foothill Highschool in California. They were awesome! 
When I was in winterguard I did saber swords, like these girls, as well as flag. I loved it.
